Your needs matter. And they deserve to be met.
Me & My Practice
My education & experience enable me to assist individuals with a variety of struggles, in various places in their healing journey, with tools & support specific to their needs.
I have worked in a variety of mental health settings since 2008. These professional experiences taught me how to support people in and through their pain.
In my time supporting folks navigate complex and multi-facited mental health challenges, I learned — one therapuetic approach does not fit (or fix) all.
With the understanding that each client has unique experiences, histories and needs, I aquired additional training and certifications [see below] to better assist clients navigate the nuances of thier unique healing journey in more effective ways that bring sustainable change.
15 years of practice and these professional experiences have provided me tools which allow me to meet my clients where they are in their season of struggle and individualize a path forward based on thier needs and goals.
My specific areas of expertise are: disordered eating/eating disorders, mood disorders (such as anxiety + depression), attachment injurires & complex trauma.
While my areas of expertise are the treatment of eating disorders, mood disorders (anxiety + depression) & trauma — I am passionate about supporting folks through day-to-day struggles & the difficulty of the human experience
I often work with men and women who share things like,
“I just want to feel like myself again”,
“I have tried everything and keep coming back to the same issues”,
“I just feel stuck”
“I don’t understand why I feel this way”,“I don’t know where to start” and “I am tired of feeling this way”.
My aim in working with my clients is to answer to primary questions: “WHY are the problems happening & WHAT can we do to address this”
I come from a family of teachers and I love taking complex issues and boiling them down into bite-size learning moments. My approach to therapy is to help connect dots — to help others make sense of the pain they experience — and then develop a plan that addresses the root of the issue to create sustainable change.
In my experience, that “plan” typically involves addressing mind and body. It involves undetstanding a person as a whole, thier story, and thier pain. It also involves understanding how to better identify personal needs and regulate thier nervous system.
My clients tend to describe me as relational, direct and safe. I priotize cultivating safe and trusting therapuetic relationships, providing effective tools, and helping others better understand themselves.

a relateable therapist who gets it.
Sometimes traditional therapy can feel “too clinical” or impersonal.
Believe me, I get it. So I utilize an approach that views things through a holistic lens—because wellness is about way more than just your mind—and incorporates methods tailored to you. Good therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, it’s personalized to you, your background, and your needs.
Here, you can show up as your authentic self, knowing I’ll always do the same. I believe in seeing you for all that you are, not just what you’re struggling with right now.
